The TASSIMO T45 Single Cup Brewing System by Bosch offers a unique way to enjoy coffeehouse-style beverages at home, such as coffee, tea, espresso, and more in about a minute. With the simple touch of a button, the brewer uses INTELLIBREWTM to read the barcode identifying precise brewing instructions with the exact temperature, water, and time duration, so each and every drink is perfect. A built-in water filter removes taste-affecting particles, while the easy-to-clean design ensures optimum convenience. Forego the measuring and clean-up of other coffee makers and indulge in pure bliss one cup at a time.

Does this model make a lot of noise?

I have the old model Braun and now it's time for a new one. Debating between premium model and this one the only difference I see is the premium model says it is silent. I don't know how loud the Bosch models are but the Braun is pretty loud.
It's less noisy than the Braun version. Not quiet by any means, though.

I bought a tassimo brewing system when it was made by Braun. What is the difference?

I use a Braun at work and own a Bosch at home. The Bosch is MUCH faster. It's ready instantly - no waiting for the machine to warm up before you press the button. Also with the Bosch, you can use travel mugs or larger cups because there's no water outflow under the cup. The brewer just sucks the water back into the reservoir instead of expelling it out the front of the machine. The Bosch is also a bit quieter. One thing the Braun does seem to do better is provide a frothier latte or an espresso with better crema.

chai tea

i enjoy chai tea, does this machine do all the steam on top to? example how starbucks makes theirs?
There's a Twining's Chai Tea Latte. It's pretty good. It comes with a milk disc, so it does give you that frothy milky top like you get at Starbucks. It's made with some sugar and some sugar substitute, so that makes it pretty sweet with a bit of a fake sugar aftertaste. I still like it, and it's a good chai.

What is the shelf life of the latte milk and foaming milk products?

The packages have expiration dates on the outside (the foil/plastic part). If you let it go too far past that date, I've discovered the milk starts to separate and can sometimes come out in clumps, or only half of the milk comes out. For the most part, they seem to last for at least several months - I wouldn't go past a year, though... and probably less. It just depends on the individual expiration dates. They're on the side of the outer packaging.
