Keep your brewer in tip-top shape with the TASSIMO replacement Cleaning Disc. This reusable plastic disc cleans your machine and is used in combination with descaling solution to descale your brewer, offering nothing but quality cups every single time.

Reuseable filters

Does Tassimo plan on having a reusable disc/pod filter like the reusable k cup filter that Keurig has come up with? This would be so helpful for those that want to use other coffees/teas, etc. that are not available in pods. And also for those who may want to regulate their strength more extremely than others. I saw that there is one for Senseo machines (i.e. Ecopad). Would that one fit the Tassimo? I am trying to determine which coffee maker meets the needs of mother, and having that filter is a plus for her.
Many one-cup filters can be used with a Tassimo to brew your own teas and coffees. Check out the Coffee Brew Buddy (in-cup, nylon filter) and the EZ Way Coffee Maker (over-the-cup, metal filter) for starters. You can also use single cup cone-type holders (eg. Melitta with 1 cup paper filters. I used double-sided tape to attach a coffee barcode cut from a used T Disc over the one on a spare service disc. This ensures the right temperature and volume of water.

A multilingual LCD display and cup stand light offer extra convenience, while a water filter ensures the right taste.

My t65 didn't come with the yellow cleaning disc

I purchased my t65 from someone who used it a few times and they lost the yellow disc. Where can I get one and how much does it cost?

will the new Tassimo coming out soon have a way to get just hot water?

Can i use water to make my own hot chocolate mix if i use the yellow disc but do not put in cleaning solution even though it says cleaning?
Many of us who love our Tassimos also occasionally like to use them to generate hot water. The cleaning disk allows this, but does not set the water to as high a temperature as for brewing. What I do is save a used T Disc of a type similar to the bulk coffee I want to brew. I cut out the barcode and tape it temporarily over the one on the cleaning disk. I can then use a Melitta or similar filter holder on a mug under the spout, and get the exact volume of 190 degree F (88 degrees C) for a great cup of coffee! Always remove the temp barcode when cleaning or descaling. I have puchased extra cleaning discs and permanently fastened barcodes to them for my most-used brews.
