Personally, I love a stronger, bolder coffee, such as the the dark italian roast, which is rich and flavorful. But the Signature blend offers a good, balanced cup of coffee. Now with the Tassimo, family and friends love that they can select the type of coffee they want without everyone having to settle on one strength which is the case with a traditional brewer. And hands down, most people really enjoy the signature blend. It strikes the perfect balance for those that don't enjoy a dark bold brew, but want a little more flavor that a light brew.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Enjoy a classic Italian tradition and a cup of pure pleasure with our Mastro Lorenzo Espresso. Imported exclusively from Europe, this medium-roast, full-bodied beverage boasts a powerful flavor and delicate crema topping that you simply can't resist.

My favorite now
By Michellen from Tarpon, Fl
This is the only recommendation I can make now that starbucks is gone. I use 2 of these per cappuccino milk t-disc and it's a nice flavor...but it does take 2.

Have you tried the Dark Italian Roast Yet?

Michellen,
I feel your pain losing Starbucks. But I've been really pleased with the Dark Italian Roast, as well as the new Dark Breakfast blend...give them a shot.

A dark roast, full-bodied selection with an extra bold taste that is both sharp and intense. Made with 100% high quality Arabica beans, this complex and hearty blend is reminiscent of the finest cafés in Italy.

Which extra bold t disc brew 16 oz cups of coffee

You can get 16oz out of the Dark italian Roast, but it will be considerably light. A personal favorite of mine, is to brew 1 t disc of Dark Italian Roast, add additional water for 5 seconds, and then add an espresso t disc. Let me tell you...this has a great kick to it. This comes out to about 16oz...

Which Gevalia is more intense, the italian roast, or the dark blend

I used to prefer the starbucks and want to order the strongest, darkest blend
Kelly,
I really enjoy the Dark italian roast the best out of the two. It is comparable to the Verona Blend at Starbucks; spicy and sweet. The dark blend is good, but closer to the house or pike place brew. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know how many mg of Caffeine are in the Dark Italian Roast and the Dark House Blend?

I don't know the exact mg of caffeine but traditionally, contrary to common thought, darker brews tend to have less caffeine than mild ones, due to the roasting process. In other words, just because it tastes stronger, doesn't mean it has more caffeine. Hope this helps a little, and I'm sure someone will reveal the actual mg of caffeine.
