Finish a delicious meal with a steaming cup of exquisitely aromatic Gevalia espresso, prepared to perfection with the touch of a button. Highlighted with an intensity of taste that you won't soon forget, this strong-bodied roast could easily capture your heart in a single sip.
Doesn't compare to the Carte Noire Ristretto. Somewhat bitter with a not so great flavor. I got this in the Cappuccino set, finding I had to use 2 per cap because it just wasn't strong enough. Since I started using the CN instead, I decided to try the last one of these straight - wish I didn't. Sorry, can't recommend this one when there are other great options.
I ordered this by mistake. Opened the box and wondered why there was a package of espresso there. But I kept it because who doesn't like some extra espresso lying around? Anyway, this stuff is really really good. I had a pack of cappuccino and was having to use two of the espresso packs that came with it per cup because the flavor of that one was somewhat poor and weak. Of course, I ran out of the espresso before the milk so I substituted this one day. Just needed one shot and what a great flavor. Definitely looking forward to making an americano with it next. Highly recommend!
A clean and light-bodied selection with a vibrant hint of citrus. Made with premium, 100% Arabica beans sourced from the premier coffee growing areas of Latin America, this extra bold roast is sure to please any time of the day.
I wasn't expecting much from this coffee - I was afraid it would be bitter with a gross taste (the first t-disc dark roast I tried was too bitter for me and other "K-coffees" just have substandard flavor). I was very pleasantly surprised - I really love this coffee. Smooth and dark with no bitterness at all.
You'll swear you just stepped into a coffee shop with one taste this strong and smooth Cappuccino. The intense flavor and inviting aroma of Gevalia Espresso is topped with a light-as-air layer of foam from our real milk creamer for a heavenly helping of happiness.
I think this is decent for a quick cap. I haven't tried any of the other cappuccino options, but this is definitely better than the latte macchiato I had previously. I will say that this is more of a latte than a cappuccino, but that seems to be a trend in the US, so I can't complain much. I don't think I will purchase anymore of the milk based options, personally, but I would recommend this to someone who likes to.
Expertly blended using fine Arabica beans from premier growing regions of Latin America, CARTE NOIRE embodies the French love affair with coffee. Its deep aroma and sophisticated flavor has the power to inspire moments of deep desire, seduction and intensity.
