Our delicious Latte is made from a perfect blend of premium espresso made from 100% Arabica beans and frothy, steamed milk.

Inconvenience Finding Nutrition Information

Why must Tassimo customers specifically request ingredients and nutrition information in this Q&A forum rather than having such information provided in the product description? Tassimo does not routinely update general product descriptions on the website (i.e. the Capuccino and Latte sections still indicate that Gevalia and Maxwell House both offer light versions of these beverages with 40% fewer calories but, to my knowledge, it has been far more than a year since more than one version of Maxwell House cappuccino has been available). The website also mentions only Maxwell House and Gevalia cappuccino and latte in the general product highlights, despite King of Joe cappuccino being offered for quite some time.

My point is: because it is difficult to maintain product information in a general sense, the appropriate place for nutrition information is on each product's description page. Please add this information, as it is very important to your customers with food allergies and with dietary restrictions.

Better explanation of brewer differences needed

Suggestion / Request: There is either very little difference between the three current Tassimo brewer models (T20, T47, T55) or the Tassimo website does a very poor job of highlighting these differences. From using the website's comparison tool, it appears that the only real differences between the least expensive model (T20) and the other two models are:
* Display / LCD: (advantage T47 & T55)
* Water tank capacity: (advantage T20 or T55)
* User-customized color options: (advantage T20)
* Size: (advantage T20 for smaller footprint yet greater water capacity)
* Water Filter: (advantage T55 & possibly T47?, IF added filtration is necessary due to local water quality. However, this also adds regular filter maintenance costs.)

Currently the brewer comparison tool does not indicate whether the T47 includes a water filter. My assumption from reading the product descriptions is that the T47 *could* be quieter than the T20 (and possibly versus the T47) as well. One of the responses in this Q&A forum also indicates that the T55 provides the ability to set a small / large brewing level prior to beginning the brew. This is not indicated in the product comparison tool, nor is this difference clearly indicated by reading all product descriptions. It would be helpful to update the brewer comparison tool with all such relevant information.

At the time of writing this, there is a $70 (70%) difference between the least and most costly Tassimo brewers. I am sure that most of Tassimo's customers would like to understand what advantages accompany the substantially greater price of the T55. Personally, I am considering upgrading my older Tassimo brewer and I would like to purchase the best model. However, based upon the information provided on Tassimo's website, I can see very little justification for the T55 being a "better" product than the T20. For now, I will keep my older brewer rather than upgrading.

Suggestion: Provide customers with an improved product comparison tool, which highlights *all differences* between these products.

Brewing hot water?

Can I just heat water thru my T55 without a Tdisc?
Because Tassimo brewers use an immediate heat feature, it can be convenient to use them to produce a quick cup of hot water (i.e. for bagged tea, hot cocoa, instant oatmeal, etc). I do this by using the cleaning disc in place of a standard T-Disc.
Two points to keep in mind:

1. Be prepared to press the stop button in order to stop the flow of water at the desired level. The barcode on the cleaning disc tells the Tassimo brewer to produce much more water than would be accommodated by a typical coffee cup.

2. Keep in mind that the purpose of the cleaning disc is to flush contaminants from the Tassimo brewer. Therefore, after inserting the cleaning disc, you will want to run a small amount of water (i.e. fill the cup 1/2 full) and discard this water before filling the cup for use. In addition to flushing the system clear, this also serves to pre-warm your coffee cup.
