This has potential but it's ruined with fake sugar. I think the customer should decide if they want to add fake sugar to it.

I really wanted to like this. Pumpkin flavor anything signifies the fall season so I couldn't wait to give this a try. Unfortunately Tassimo finds the need to add fake sugar to all of their sweetened drinks. That nasty flavor just sticks to the back of your tongue and stays there the rest of the day. That's the same reason that I can't drink their peach or raspberry iced teas or their chai latte. It just ruins it. This flavor has so much potential too. They already put real sugar in it so I have no idea why they feel the need to add sucralose. Please Tassimo, I am begging you, quit ruining your drinks.

Too Sweet, Contains Fake Sugar

The raspberry flavor is subtle and the tea flavor is even more subtle. The overwhelming flavor in this drink is the fake sugar, which ruins everything. It would be nice if this was just raspberry tea with no sweeteners of any kind so that the consumer can sweeten to taste. This is only the second Tassimo product I have ever tried that I can’t recommend. The first was the peach iced tea for all the same reasons I can't recommend this one.

This is a great full flavored cup of coffee. It’s a little less intense than the Dark Italian but more robust than the Dark Breakfast Blend. I love it.

I have a cup of this sitting in front of me right now and it is amazing. It truly delivers on its name. Extra bold….yep. Dark Italian roast…..oh yes. A fantastic full flavor cup that only Tassimo can deliver. If you like the boldness of this coffee but want something a little less intense you should try out the extra bold house blend.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I’m giving this one a 3 based on how I like my French Vanilla coffee to taste. If you like a lot of vanilla and a little coffee you may really like this one. I prefer to have a little less vanilla flavor and a bit more coffee presence in my cup. For that reason I like the Maxwell House French Vanilla better.
Yes, I recommend this product.

So this is what hazelnut is supposed to taste like. I’m not much of a hazelnut coffee fan because I’ve never had one that tasted right. Because of that I was a little apprehensive to try this one. However, my wife is a fan of hazelnut so I knew it wouldn’t go to waste. The first thing I noticed was the aroma as it was brewing. It was like warm butter, almost like a pound cake baking in the oven. I actually had to walk back into the kitchen to see if my wife was baking something. The flavor embodied that same rich butteryness much like an actual hazelnut. I like it because you get the earthyness of the nut along with a little bit of sweet while still being able to taste the coffee.

If you could burn water, this is what it would taste like-- no coffee flavor at all, more like licking an ashtray.

Keep in mind that this is French Roast and not French Vanilla. A French Roast coffee comes from beans that have been roasted until very dark. This creates a very strong, hardy coffee. It may not be for everyone but Maxwell House did a very good job getting this one right.

I too enjoy Gevalia’s Dark Morning Blend but it doesn’t quite have the finish of a French roast. The Gevalia may be a little more complex throughout but it fades at the end. The Maxwell House (surprisingly) has that smoky, roasted finish I look for in a French roast. I will be trying the other Gevalia extra bold flavors and I have high hopes for the Italian Roast.

Voluptuous by name and by nature, this coffee boasts a well-rounded flavour beneath its light, frothy head.Enjoy its smooth, velvet texture with the utmost convenience with TASSIMO T DISC pods.

Still confused by the Pour Size?

I'm considering trying the Gevalia Dark Italian Roast because I'm very encouraged by it's reviews, but I might like to try some others as well. Why does the description for this say 11 oz if it' only gives you ~ 4 oz per disc??
I believe the item description has been updated. I too ordered this when the description read 11oz. At first I was a little disappointed when I read it later at 4oz. However, these coffees come directly from the country of the brand’s origin. Because of that they are designed to brew to the expectations of the consumers in that country. European expectations of coffee differ from ours here in the States. You can hold your brew button down at the end of the brew cycle to run more water through the disc. However, after trying this at 4oz I was completely pleased and left satisfied after slowly taking my time with it. I may not be using this as my every day, pull out a travel mug coffee but it is a nice treat at the end of the day in front of the fire.

Made from high-quality 100% Arabica beans, Maxwell House Cafe Collection French Vanilla serves up a smooth cup of medium-roast coffee that never fails to delight, especially when brewed in your TASSIMO brewer.

Free gift for registering

I registered my new Tassimo brewing system this evening, however, I'm not sure how to go about getting my free t-discs that's offered with registering. Is just 2 discs of a random brand sent to me, or do I get to choose which ones I would like to sample? On the website, I could not find any additional information on the free t discs. Please let me know what I need to do. Thank you!
You may already have your discs but just in case I will offer my help.

Once you complete the registration form and create your account you will be able to navigate the entire selection of discs. Once you add your 2 selections to the cart you will be able to check out with a zero balance.
