Keep your brewer in tip-top shape with the TASSIMO replacement Cleaning Disc. This reusable plastic disc cleans your machine and is used in combination with descaling solution to descale your brewer, offering nothing but quality cups every single time.

Cleaning Disc

How many uses are set up for the cleaning disc?
I have used my cleaning disc three times since I purchased my Tassmo and I need to know when to order a new cleaning disc.
There is no need to replace your cleaning disc: it does not contain any chemicals, just a barcode to instruct the machine and a channel for the water.

Should I ever change tassimo cleaning disc? and if yes how often?

No need if it's still working.

If it should ever become damaged, then you'd need another, not no need to replace it routinely.

Hi there,

We are looking for a replacement disc for our T55 model.. Will this disc work for our model? Otherwise where can we get the correct disc?
Same disc for all machines - just like the T-Discs. :-)

I just bought my Tassimo T20

I inserted the cleaning disc but nothing is happening I wanted to know if the little knob on the disc needs to come off for the water to come through.
You need to press the button - and when you first receive the machine, you need to run the cleaning cycle FOUR times.

What does Descaling mean and how do you Descale the machine?

Hard water contains lime scale which causes a chalky build-up when heated. This includes the inner workings of your Tassimo machine.

Descaling (or removing the lime scale) requires a descaler, but be aware many commercially-available products contain vinegar, which should not be used in a Tassimo. You can purchase the recommended product from Bosch or Tassimo.

Make the solution in the tank by adding two tablets (or as directed on your product) to a full tank of water. Insert your cleaning disc and a LARGE (1L/2-pint) container under the nozzle. Press AND HOLD the button until the machine starts working - you are now running the descaling cycle.

When the machine is finished, empty and wash-out the tank and fill with clean water. Then empty the container and return it to under the spout. Press (and release) the button to run the normal cleaning cycle. You will need to run this FOUR times to be certain of removing all traces of the descaler.

Once competed, discard the water in the container and return your cleaning disc to the holder at the back of the machine. Your Tassimo is now ready to serve drinks again.

does the cleaning disk come with the coffee brewer

Yes it does.

Look after it (there's a special holder on the machine) as you'll need it to clean and descale your machine.

If you do lose/damage it, you can always purchase a replacement.

How do I get more hot water as some pods strong do I take the pod out after coffee has gone in cup and press where the cup wtith plus sign i

Extra hot water
Start with a cup large enough for the amount of drink you'd like.

When the cycle finishes, and the plus sign comes on, press and hold the button for extra water. Note that the water doesn't start pouring immediately (the disc was empty, now refilling), so it won't stop immediately, either! Allow for this by releasing the button a least 2cm before the cup is full.

You'll need to stay by the machine for this option: the green plus light doesn't stay on forever.

I have cleaned it using the disc many times but the cleaning light still shows...

I have ran the disc through almost 10 times and it is saying it is not clean I have yet to see if my coffee is clean when I make it now but I have a feeling it will be yucky like when it was before I cleaned it many times... I also los the manual so im a sitting duck
The "cleaning" light is actually prompting for descaling.

Fill the tank with descaling solution (NOT vinegar-based), insert the cleaning disc and LONG-PRESS the button (hold in for approx 5 seconds, until the machine starts). You'll need a large jug under the nozzle for the waste (approx 1L or approaching 2 pints).

Then wash out the water tank, refill with clean water and run the regular cleaning cycle FOUR times.

After this, your machine should be good for at least 400 cups.

Water not boiling

I have now used two tassimo coffee's in my machine and on both occasions it makes the coffee yet at the end of the program it shows the flashing red light showing boiling of the water hasn't taken place. Why only after using the already expensive coffee to find it is now wasted, surely it should stop and warn that there's something wrong before wasting coffee.
I'm not sure there's a "not boiling" light, BB4ALL.

One red get means the water tank needs filling, but this doesn't flash. The oter means the machine needs descaling - but the coffee should still be drinkable.

Run the descaling cycle before your "even-more-expensive-than-the-discs" machine clogs-up and becomes unusable!
